Anthracite Galaxy Pool Enclosure, Newbury

Installation of a 6.5m x 12.2m Pool Enclosure

A challenging installation on a cold and wet day in Newbury, Berkshire.

The Brief

This client needed a pool enclosure specifically tailored to suit the paved area around the pool. The Galaxy enclosure needed to provide as much cover as possible over the pool, whilst leaving plenty of space on the paved area for outside dining.

It was vital that the design of the enclosure should enhance the patio area whilst protecting the pool and providing access to the pool during adverse weather conditions.

What We Did

We coordinated closely with the pool contractor, Riverside Pools, to install the enclosure just before the final finishes were completed, helping to prevent unnecessary mess and disruption during the finishing stages.

The building was secured on porcelain tiles with a concrete substrate, which required careful diamond drilling to prevent damage to the delicate finish.

Installation took three days in very wet and breezy conditions – quite a challenge for the Pool Cover Systems team!

Once erected, the enclosure also provided a weatherproof area for any additional works to be completed – which the team were very thankful for.

The End Result

Finished in Anthracite, this Galaxy enclosure provides an attractive, sheltered area for unhindered swimming enjoyment all year round whilst preserving the lovely views from the patio area.

All completed just in time for Spring and the start of the BBQ season.
