Restoration of Dilapidated Galaxy Pool Enclosure
Restoring a Neglected Sliding Pool Enclosure
How we gave a new lease of life to this 20 year old construction.
The Brief
This client bought a house which came with a swimming pool and enclosure in much need of some TLC. We were first asked if restoration was even possible as, although the basic structure was sound, it had fallen into major disrepair.
Uneven paving surounding the pool added to the issues and prevented the sliding mechanism from working. We decided to take on the challenge and restore the enclosure to its original beauty.
What We Did
On arrival, we took the enclosure apart into 7 sections. We carefully cleaned every part of the enclosure to remove all the dirt and grime that had built up over 20 years.
We replaced 7 broken roof panels and 2 glazed side panels, then cleaned the whole enclosure again.
We returned to the site once a landscaper had repaired and levelled the pool surround, when we reassembled the enclosure and made sure it could open and close as it should.
The Result
This client was pretty chuffed with the finished pool enclosure. We had managed to save this 20 year old relic from the brink and restore it to pristine condition, saving the client a great deal of money and stress.
If you’ve been putting off doing something about your neglected pool enclosure, thinking it’s beyond repair, think again and give us a call. Let’s get it back to pristine condition!
