Problem-Solving for a Troublesome Pit Mounted Roller
Replacement of pit mounted roller with Intube motor and new control panel.
The Brief
We were called to this job because the wall seals for the pit mounted motor (not our installation) were repeatedly failing and allowing the pit mounted motor to be flooded.
The wall seals were having to be replaced every couple of years resulting in regular expensive repair costs. Despite several attempts by other pool servicing companies, no long-term solution had been found.
What We Did
We attempted to source better seals for the wall fitting but no suitable replacement was available.
We therefore decided to opt for an intube motor from UNICUM and sealed the wall so that the issue with water leaking into the pit was irradicated.
The Result
With the addition of a new control panel, the pool was refilled and the system programmed correctly.
This client was delighted to be free of this annoying issue with their pool at long last.
